No greetings card from my part this year, but a sample from a commission I only just finished; a pop-up book called Vikings. So, I didn't have the time to make a proper card. But nevertheless I wish everybody a very happy 2009.

The GCI Artists' Blog
We thought we would try having a GCI Artists blog and have our own exclusive artists' community.
All GCI artists are welcome to join in and add pieces of artwork for peer review or discuss illustration problems and solutions etc.
Obviously we'll need to see how it develops and whether its purpose needs refining but I guess until we start using it we won't know what we want from it.
This blog is visible to everyone who visits the GCI website so you may wish to bear that in mind.

The book is still in production, but the designer sent me a PDF with a few spreads with the illo's in place and I'm quite excited! He did a wonderful job!
Perhaps I'll post one of them here.
